It's been forever, once again. Sorry, babies. I fail at life.
Have I mentioned anything about moving on here? Well, we're/I'm moving. Mom and J. have already moved to North Carolina and taken most of my stuff down with them. I'm staying in Maryland because I have a good-paying job and would like to make some money before I move to Boston... whenever that may be.
It's stuff like that I'll remember.
Yesterday was Thursday (I almost said yesterday was Saturday -- NO NO) ....
Ever since March, when I got my Xbox 360, I've gradually become more a gamer nerd. It's kind of strange 'cause I never thought I would be. I had passing interests; when I was younger I had a N64 and loved "Goldeneye" but that was when I was young... and it was ONE game.
Now I own quite a few (8? 10?) 360 games and every weekend it's hard to stop myself from running to Gamestop for a new one. I just enjoy them. I have played on my 360 so far: Resident Evil 5, Castle Crashers, Gears of War 2, XMen Origins: Wolverine, Peggle, Bioshock, Left 4 Dead, The Orange Box, Fallout 3, Oblivion, and GTA IV (I do not own GTA -- Cary made me play it and I didn't care for it.)
SO MUCH NERDY FUN.
This has poured over into computer/phone games such as Flood-It:
and Flight Control:
I dunno. I guess I just bore easily.
Dear Miss V_____:
Congratulations on your acceptance to the Master of Arts in English program at the University of Massachusetts Boston.
YES! I GOT ACCEPTED INTO UMASS BOSTON, GUYS!!
So, my friend Laurel and I were making fun of Microsoft (and the new Windows 7) and just had one of the best conversations ever. Thought I would share.
me: I NEED COMFORT
Ahhh
Much better

Laurel Russell: im telling you this in the most loving way possible
its unhealthy to love gay men
me: Apple is comforting
LOL
Laurel Russell: unless you are a gay man
me: It's not UNHEALTHY
It's just... pointless.
Laurel Russell: no no no its unhealthy
because then no straight man can live up to your ideals
me: Dude
I had that problem before I fell in love with teh gay
Laurel Russell: although let me just say i'd totally hit NPH
me: Well, of course.
Laurel Russell: and not with a stick
me: LOL
Today is self-portrait thursday, fo 'realz!
I've missed a few of them, I mean posting them on here. Sorry about that.
I'm back at home. I'm also back at work. But working for a different place than before. WEIRD. I sit at a desk all day and look at numbers and spreadsheets. But it pays well and saving is important for me right now.
Self-portrait Thursday, of course.
I was watching "Frasier" -- which I've been watching a lot recently. (I think I've already said this.)
It's just nice to unwind to a bit of smart, but still silly, comedy at the end of the day.
Two weeks from today and I will be done with school. Completely done. And, technically, less than two weeks. Thursday @ 8AM is my last final exam.
I haven't heard back from UMass Boston as of yet and I haven't really applied anywhere else yet. I'm working on it, though. It's something I want to work on in the next week or two -- I did start applying to the University of Liverpool but I need to keep working, working, working. Find more places.
I also finally started reading Max Brooks' "World War Z" and it is very, very fun. The best part about it is that it if there ever was a zombie apocalypse, all of the stuff he writes would TOTALLY happen.
I'm the lamest person you know.
Friday night. I'm working on a paper.
I DID order a pizza with a couple friends and chat with them while we ate.
Oh. And we watched the S3 unrated blooper reel for "How I Met Your Mother."
I think NPH and I are soul mates. In one form or another. XD
I've missed a couple days of SPT. Here are some pictures to make up for it.
I'm working on my 20+ page paper for my seminar class. I have to do a presentation for it, too. And I have to have it all done, edited, and ready to present by April 13th. I guess that's kind of nice, though, in a way, 'cause then I won't have to worry about it beyond that. I graduate on April 25th.
Lots of people are going to be here for graduation. My mom, my sister, my old neighbors, my ex-roommate. Speaking of my ex-roommate, I want her to move where I move. I love that girl and we get along really well. It'd be such a great living situation.
Why do the maintenance men in the dorms have to have their walkies up so friggin' loudly? I mean, is that really necessary? REALLY?
HAI. It's Thursday.
I have class in about 27 minutes and I really don't want to go. Last time it was canceled, so I'm sure it'll certainly be on today. Which is disappointing.
I need to get ready for class.
I'm sure you've noticed, but, Kait's got an awesome rack!! read more
